What are Software Evaluation Kits? 
Software Evaluation Kits are evaluation CD's / DVD's including an EVAL Edition of our development tools.
Are Software Evaluation Kits available free of charge?
Yes, Software Evaluation Kits are available free of charge and can
be used during a limited period of time (usually one month).
During that period, you can access to our support and upgrade services
free of charge.
What can I do when the evaluation period is over?
Once the evaluation period is over, you can extend the period of
your evaluation by purchasing a 2-month Software Evaluation Kit or you
can buy a Software Developer Kit.
The extended period Software Evaluation Kits are available for
purchase from our Sales office and on-line
(login to your account).
Software Developer Kits are available from
Sales office only.
Are Software Evaluation Kits feature limited?
Evaluation Kits have few limited features such as application code size and run-time execution life-time (other limitations might be added - check the user documentation).
Can I use Software Evaluation Kits to design and sell my devices?
Software Evaluation Kits allow developers to try out IS2T product before puchasing. Evaluation Kits do not intend to be used for a commercial purpose.
Where can I get Software Evaluation Kits?
Software Evaluation CD's / DVD's are available on-line from IS2T and from partners providing bundled kits (hardware and software).
How do I install Software Evaluation Kits?
Installation process requires 4 steps:
- Register your product by submitting your Registration Key.
- Install your Software Evaluation Kit with Eclipse
- Request your Activation Key by submitting the UID given by the Workbench Eclipse plugin.
- Activate your product by entering the Activation Key in the Workbench Eclipse plugin.

What is a Software Development Kit?
Software Development Kits provide a set of Java platforms and their associated development tools. They allow to prototype, design, test and deploy Java applications for embedded systems.
What are COTS Java Platform Kits?
COTS Java Platform Kits (COTS JPK) provide Java Platforms (JPF)
designed for commercial development boards available from our
partners.
COTS JPF are riched featured platforms that fit to most application
requirements.
What are Custom Java Platform Kits?
Custom Platform Kits (Custom JPK) provide Java Platforms (JPF) customized to your needs. Simple customized JPF's are derivated from COTS JPF's to support other peripherals such as a specific graphic LCD reference. Customized JPF can also be fully custom Java platforms with specific Java Virtual Machine features.
How COTS Java PLatform Kits can fit to my needs?
If your hardware configuration is a subset of a hardware supported
by one of our COST Java Platforms (JPF), this COTS JPF will certainly
fit to your needs.
Additional means allow to customize I/O configurations and names,
memory configuration settings, etc.
Where can I get Software Development Kits?
Our Software Development Kits are directly availble from our Sales office.
How do I install Software Development Kits?
Installation process requires 3 steps:
- Register your Software Development kit by submitting your Registration Key.
- Install your Software Development Kit with Eclipse
- Insert the IS2T USB dongle to use the Software Development Kit.
Do I need a production license for Java platform run-time
deployment?
Yes you need a production license to deploy IS2T Java Platforms. Contact our Sales office for more information.

Why do I need to register as a member?
Registration is required to access to products, updates, technical
support, license management, etc.
You can register at any time before or after buying products. If you
intend to buy products on-line, you have to register first.
Is member registration free?
Yes, registration is free.
Are my personal information confidential?
Information associated to your account are kept confidential. We do
not distribute nor sell our customer information to any other entity.
The member area is a secured area (secure HTTP server). Check our legal section to learn our commitment about privacy.
What do I do if I have forgotten my account password?
You can request a new password that will be emailed to you immediately.
Do I need an account to get technical support?
Yes you need to create an account and registered products to get
technical support from IS2T hotline.
You may check our Embedded Java Resource Center forum if you need help
from the community.
Can I create several accounts?
No, there shall be one single account per end-user (natural person).
