Focus on S3™ & S3Viewer™

Description

The S3 supports full emulation environments of both Java and native code. It is a state-of-the-art embedded Java toolbox running on desktops (PC) for developing embedded J2ME Java applications based on CLDC and other librairies such as MicroUI.

Because applications can run identically on a PC and on targeted devices (using the same software library implementations) developers can concentrate their effort on designing, testing, validating and debugging their application on their PC. Then they drag-and-drop their binary application onto the hardware at the last stage of the design process. This is especially useful for all HMI graphical applications as the very same pixels get rendered the very same way on the S3 and on the target.

S3 Viewer

The S3 Viewer is a packaged and closed version of S3 that embeds the whole application. It allows software engineers to deliver their designs to marketing and sales (and others) without any existing hardware.
